Three actions in the district court for Hennepin county, consolidated for trial and heard together on appeal, to recover for personal injuries sustained by plaintiffs Milford A. Barnes and Raymond D. Emerson and for the wrongful death of Clayton L. Thompson arising out of the crash of one of defendants airplanes, in which plaintiffs and decedent, members of the armed forces of the United States, were passengers. The cases were tried before Lars O. Rue, Judge, and a jury, and a verdict returned for defendant in each case. From separate orders denying their motions for a new trial, plaintiffs appealed.
